Welcome to the online portfolio of web designer and graphics artist Brent Hartmann, a creative professional with over 8 years of experience.

I started designing in my early teens; with web design and digital painting in the mid-90's. My first exposure to computer graphics was in the 3d arena; working with 3d studio max v3, poser, vue d'esprit, and paintshop pro. After that I started using microsoft front-page then eventually migrated to Macromedia Dreamweaver 2.

Now, in modern times, to create websites I use HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, and mySQL databases. Often, my sites are built on open source content management systems such as Drupal so the client can manage and update the site without the skills of a webmaster. I feel at home in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for all print, advertising, and graphics work.
